Carolina Koutras 

Carolina Koutras is the Chief Operating Officer of One Yukon Coalition, an independent public health organization advancing health equity in Northern, remote, and isolated communities. Her current interests focus on infrastructure development, wastewater intelligence for emerging substances of potential abuse, point-of-care testing innovation, One Health genomics, and community engagement. She also serves on the boards of Heros Biotech™ and the Maternal Infant Child and Youth Research Network.

Previously, Carolina worked across the academic, public, and private sectors, leading health research investments, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.  She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Université Laval and a BSc from Paris Descartes University. She completed postdoctoral training at the University of Toronto and, as a Donald Burns and Louise Berlin Fellow, at the University of Calgary.
